We believe that the Great Commission of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 is the mission for all believers, and the mission of our church. Jesus said, "All authority is given unto me, therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Jesus told the disciples that they would be witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Their work in mission started on their own doorstep and spread right through the world.
Today we are good at backing up mission work by prayer and giving in other parts of the world, but not so good at obeying Jesus commission in our own locality.

We believe at RRBC that we must continue supporting the Baptist Mission Society, Soap Box, BUild Europe and other overseas missions, but we also believe that it is necessary for us to get involved in local mission.
Our aim through our Up and Running mission is to reach out to the local community and show them by action and words that Jesus loves them and has a great future for them.
