LEARNING DISABLED

Our Sunday Group is a group for adults with learning disabilities. They join us with their carers for worship each Sunday Morning. Some are physically disabled. Twice a month, most of them leave the service part way through to attend their own teaching, activities and worship meeting.

This group is part of the BUiLD network (Baptist Union initiative for people with Learning Disabilities).

BUiLD produces teaching material and holds conferences to help parents and carers of people with learning disabilities.

BUild Europe goes out to Poland each year at the invitation of Polish Baptists to help run a holiday club for children with learning disabilities and their parents.

Thursday mornings 10.30 to 11.30 am for adults with learning disabilites in association with the Henley Poppy Day sevice provider.
